caring bolton: portrait and stories commission

The below images are from an exhibition commission with Bolton Museum & Art Gallery August 2021 - January 2022. The resulting exhibition commemorated the different ways that local communities cared for one another during the coronavirus pandemic.

I was commissioned to produce a series of photographic portraits of individuals who played an important role in Bolton’s community response to Covid-19. I also interviewed each participant to capture their personal story - these were displayed alongside each photograph.
